I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, especially because it was just a short walk to Union Point Park, where the views are stunning, and the surrounding shops and restaurants made my weekend city strolls so enjoyable. the room was large and clean with a peaceful view that made it feel like a perfect retreat.

However, I found the dining options limited during my stay.

Dining around New Bern is a must! Hit up Persimmons Waterfront Restaurant for some killer seafood and picturesque river views. Trent River Coffee Shop serves a delightful brew that'll kickstart your day. Plus, the staff at the hotel were super friendly and made us feel right at home.

The room had a dated vibe with some unsettling cleanliness issues, like smears by the bedside light.
